Look over in Ridgefield park Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn. but for us it was just cheaper to pay to park at the pier as there is 7 of us Shuttle covered the first two in the room- and each person was 65. round trip

What you are describing lunch is port days. On sea days the camps is not opened for lunch or dinner time. Very different from a port day.

I have seen that mess and not seen any crew member ask people to leave that area

something we learned a few years back-- have the waiter serve every one together. They usually bring out kids food first-- and they are done before we even get started and get bored very quickly. Serving us together worked out better

I just dont understand why they do not have to staff to show people to wait in other areas away from deck 3 if its not your time-- send them to another deck. I do not know why simple rules and requests are not enforced at all

We have three teens and in the past I gave them free rein within a reason I will play it by ear and see what happens. They know if something is going down get out of there immediately. They are not to go into cabin areas for any reason

I do wish they’d hire train security. No buffet workers who want to move up in ranks. Security do nothing just standing there

Worried to the point that i had to back out of the "face" page for this ship. Just seems there to be more bad than there is good. But all that crap about people being arrested and thrown in the jail onboard and the multiple fighting etc. got me real worried. But let me add that I wonder how much is true vs just hearsay. )for one carnival usually just puts people on lockdown in their cabin., (jail on the ship is full??> Its not very big to begin with) and whats all the fighting about in the night club-- are they just getting upset because someone requested different music? I find it odd that there is no video-- there is always videos LOL I read about crew shortages and visa issues which John H says did not happen all hearsay? but people are saying the crew are telling the people this-- why would they tell passengers this stuff? One person complained that one person was waiting on 10 tables-- see this is the stuff that is very hard to believe-- thats just not even possible = is it? i mean who is running for the food- filling glasses getting drinks I read about long waits in lines - and wonder if people are going at 11:30 and just lining up since it doesnt open til noon. (a person said they waited in a line for guys burgers for 45 min-- say what? I read how small the deck is on the lido deck for those night time parties-- even sail away parties-- its too small Cruise planning is fun- but boy the stress this one is doing.

id meet up with the mairte de that first day and try to change it to early. I would take the 6pm dining over anytime with a larger party

cruises that leave on a sunday or a monday have a better crowd vs crowds on longer weekend cruises Our next leaves on a Monday and comes back on Saturday. The one before leaves on a thursday and comes back on Monday. Try to avoid the cruises that are weekend cruises

you will get an extra card all it does it open the door. No charging is on those key cards they cant set your own card to open multiple doors

Late dinner will interfere with teen activity. Activities are closed from 5-7 Buffet is closed from 3-5:30

We sailed this itinerary in splendor in august a few years back. It was very heavy fog. About 75 degrees. Depends where you are from if it’s warm enough to swim. Florida woukd think that’s cold. A Michigan would think it’s perfect

carnival knows how many kids are onboard for each sailing and know what age brackets they need. so no kid is turned away. OO i see you are sailing hope you have a great cruise

how did you find the buffet offerings? so many posts about the buffet being so small and not a lot of choices, Which i find this odd. Wondering if they are only lining up at the first area and thinking thats it Like no carving station> no sweet area? does the buffet run the whole area or just one section? i tried looking at videos but it seems to be more seating did you have a midnight buffet ?

We had that cabin on a different ship. Never heard that door. It’s for crew to move from deck to deck. Staying out of passenger halls.
