I believe the OP has misunderstood what the “no tax and no duty” statement means. It does mean that taxes and duty were not charged on that item when it was placed into the shipboard inventory. It does not mean that you do not pay tax and duty on the item. Whether you might be charged taxes or duty depends on the local laws as well as the laws of your home country when you return there. This is a common misconception

It is purified and desalinated. the room steward can deliver ice to your room second,, you are allowed to take a case of water with you as you board third, there is a premium water package you can buy which would give you unlimited evian and perrier
