  1. You may have misunderstood how it works. When you book on board, the booking goes directly to the Travel agent. Often it crosses his desk before I have even left the Future Cruise Office!
  2. Try here for further info https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2960368-summary-of-all-of-the-items-announced-829-ai-tips-butlers-etc/
  3. It’s interesting that not one single person has said they want lots more short itineraries. Everyone wants the longer ones. The ones that Celebrity has been taking away.
  4. Thinking out of the box, and for Someone i know who would like to see something of Europe but who doesnt want to fly, a cruise which originates in NY or Boston, goes to Europe, does two or three ports there and returns to US. And perhaps there are some Brits who would like to see some of the US but also don’t want to fly so maybe a cruise originating Southampton, coming to the US to Boston, New York, and maybe one or two others and then return to Southampton.
  5. I believe that once the luggage is delivered to the terminal, the cruise line has no further responsibility. It is up to you to not forget it or leave it behind there. If it’s picked up in error by someone else, that is also not the cruise line’s responsibility
  6. Is it only UK citizens that see these discrepancies? What about Austrians? Germans? What prices are available to them? South Africans?
  7. Can’t read your post. Could you pick a different font, please?
  8. Room service is not included in the classic beverage package and the bottles of water that are in your state room are not included in your package so if you consume them you would pay for them. You will need to go to any bar or restaurant and ask for a bottle of water and you can do that as many times as you need during the day
  9. You are correct about the confusion. Something gets changed at one area of the website but other areas are not put into agreement!
  10. Yes, celebrity does make a distinction. The general rule is that specialty coffees include alcohol
  11. And what of the gluten-free cookies? And the no sugar added cookies? They were ignored in the kerfuffle
  12. Im not sure how Captain’s Club status fits in to the question. The tram stops at the same place for all, as I recall
  13. Go to guest relations and they will give you a form to fill out
  14. It’s nothing you sign up for. When a power up point opportunity comes along, people on this thread will be sure to let everyone else know. You simply participate in the activity and that’s all there is to it because there’s nothing you sign up for ahead of time
  15. Which ship? On M class ships Concierge cabins are slightly larger that standard verandahs.
  16. Go to the BOA site and sign in to your account, then choose manage rewards and it takes you here and you can redeem the points as you wish
  17. Just stay on the ship if you are worried.
  18. I had my local salon write out the formula that they use and I give that to them on the ship and they have never had any trouble matching the color. Mine is a simple color process not two-tone or shadows or uplights. Never had a problem. As to upselling, it’s no worse than my local salon which is always trying to get me to buy shampoo and conditioner from them. Easy to say no thank you
  19. It is highly doubtful that they will hold the ship for you, so don’t even think of that. What is the itinerary? Some itineraries would allow for a downline embarkation, some wouldn’t. is there a different set of flights you could take? If the airline changed their schedule they ought to rebook you on earlier flights, assuming there are earlier flights that day.
