Michael Coghlan is GM on the Mariner now.
Davor will join the Voyager tomorrow as GM . . .
And just because, Franck is on the Navigator . . .

I agree with Joan and Joe - A beautiful tour and the cake at the Farm was wonderful! Just what I need - more food!

Thanks Jackie for the "upgrade" information. The speed has been good! Yea!

The M&G was great - nice to put faces with names.
I enjoyed the two tours I've been on - got me out of the cities and into the incredibly beautiful countryside. I got off the bus in both towns and walked back to the ship so I got a bit of both.
I didn't count the number of people on the buses but they didn't seem fuller than before and the new system in the theater seems to work and does stop people from leaving early to board the buses.
Terry Bishop - the lecturer is good - lots of facts and well presented. JR's show was terrific - but I love Broadway music.
The ship looks great - it's been four years since I've been on the Voyager - and there are lots of familiar faces - including a couple from - for me - way back on Royal Viking Line.
Had a very nice dinner with Jackie and Dennis tonight . . . .

Hi Nancy,
I'm here and all is well!
We'll be in port with the Symphony in St Petersburg - haven't a clue about docking but might run into some familiar faces.
Oddly enough, have not seen Jackie or Dennis on board although I did see them in Oslo.

As Jackie posted, I ran into her and Denis this morning. A nice surprise. I saw the Regent buses and was looking but she saw me first.
There were a number of people who will be joining the ship tomorrow on the SAS flight from Newark to Oslo and (from the Regent person in the Lobby) something like 200 staying here.
Wonderful to see the Voyager this morning and looking forward to barding tomorrow.
See everyone there!

LindaM,
My guess is that if you are in confirmation with the post 6pm dress code (no blue jeans or shorts), you'll be fine.
I don't remember "samples" but I could be wrong here - we sat down and the waiter brought a menu and then we walked to the buffet area and picked what we wanted. At times we told the waiter we were fine with only the buffet (hardy appetizers, salad, cheeses and dessert) and would not order a main course. Not a big deal.
Pick what you want, eat it and leave. Drinks, wine if you like and off you go.
I don't think it's a big deal.

One minor point:Yes, guests are welcome on board Crystal but there is a charge with or without a meal/drink.
-
LindaM,
As long as I can remember and I'm a long time Regent passenger, La Veranda and then Sette Mare had the same set-up - buffet plus a main course menu.
In the past when Formal was FORMAL, La Veranda was not.
I agree with Rachel . . .I suspect that non-blue jeans will pass muster.
Anyway, give it a try!

LHT28,
Of course you're correct. Prestige Cruise Holdings is what I meant.
Thanks for catching my mistake.

Apollo - which owns Pinnacle - is a publicly traded company.
Having said that, I have no idea if shipboard credit is available.

I've used Luggage Free and can recommend them whole heartedly.

Terrific review! Thanks.

LindaM,
Why can't you get a quick dinner in Sette Mare?
The appetizers, salads and desserts are all buffet style. I've gone there a number of times and just skipped the main course.
Jeans are an issue . . . I agree.
Just my experience . . . .

Ann, Cy and I had the same money issues when we were there - in the '80s.
I wonder if it's changed . . . any information from someone who has been in Russia - and St Petersburg specifically - more recently?

Does Regent have Pespi or Coke products.
in Regent Seven Seas Cruises

I assume that Pepsi products can be requested. Ask your TA. I would also be sure that there is some reasonable lead time.
