TimATL Posted November 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2009 This is on Liberty of the Seas. I understand the pullman beds come out of the ceiling? So if we don't use them, will we even notice that they're there? In other words, do they make the ceiling lower, or anything like that? Thanks! cruiseguy1016 Posted November 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2009 They do not take up any extra space. You might not notice them unless you are looking for them.
cb at sea Posted November 12, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 12, 2009 If you don't need them, you won't even know they're there! No worries!
TimATL Posted November 12, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted November 12, 2009 So on the Freedom class they're in the ceiling for sure, and if they're stowed then the stateroom looks no different than a stateroom without the pullman beds?

marci22 Posted November 12, 2009 #7 Share Posted November 12, 2009 If you are a double looking to book a quad, they won't let you unless it's close to sail date. oh looks like you're going...soon. they'll probably let you then.
TimATL Posted November 12, 2009 Author #8 Share Posted November 12, 2009 Yes, we leave Nov 29 and there's only 2 of us. I'm currently booked in an M categorty stateroom, but the L category is now cheaper by $110 per person. I hesitated at first because most L staterooms have pullman beds and I've only seen the kind that come out of the wall and are unsightly. But if the pullman beds on Libery come out of the ceiling and are invisable when stowed, then why not switch to an L and save $110 per person, right? Even if they do come out of the wall and are unsightly, for $220 in my pocket, I could look at ugly for a week! ;)
