I completely agree!

CB is the best.. Our first cruise on her was our #7, and we thought we've seen it all.. but we were amazed.

We sailed on Ruby, which has some upgrades over CB, but still feel, that CB is more special.

Terrace pool is THE BEST.

Best ship we have expereinced in 14 cruises over the years. Sure it's a lot of people but there is lots of room for everyone. The food was excellent and the variety superb. Goinfg again on Feb14th from San Juan Can't wait
Wow, so nice to read. I love the Caribbean Princess too.

Too many people.
The more the merrier!;):)

I was so blown away in March 08 by this ship. Only been on one other cruise on Crown Princess in March 09. Looking forward to new itinerary on such an impressive ship in March 2010. Someday we may try another line just for variety but it's hard to imagine something grander. I'm not into climbing walls and water slides.

Happy to hear this as we are sailing the end of January! What were your favorites on this ship? Also, I see a lot of notings stating this ship is hot in areas--what is your take on this? Are the cabins warm?

Wife and I will be on the CB akso, Jan 31. I also remember at least one post about their cabin always being hot.icon7.gif

I am sailing on the Caribbean Princess in January. It is my first curise! I was wondering if I need to pack my own beach towel for shore excursions or if I can take one from the ship.

You can take one from the ship. When you return they have a place to drop off dirty towels.

It's a wonderful ship. I've been on it three times. I actually like the adults only pool by the Sanctuary, as well as the Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is amazing and so worth the money.

I've also heard all these comments about hot spots but don't know what the big deal is. I didn't have any problems with temperature.

You know I keep hearing how crowded the CB is.....On the past couple of cruises I've been on, they have all been sold out. Yet consistently after sailaway we have found ourselves and only a hand full left on deck enjoying the 1st evening at sea, I've found myself alone on the promenade deck at various times during the day, walking directly into the dining room with no lines. The bars are virtually empty at nighttimes, especially later in the night. The casino is not full on most nights.

The only time I personally notice the crowds are sea days on a beautiful day, and my solution is simply get up early and find a secluded spot.....I don't think the crowds are that bad at all.........I often wonder where everyone it

In less than two weeks, we will be sailing on the Caribbean Princess. We have heard so many good things about the ship as well as the itinerary, we're really looking forward to it!

Perhaps you can answer a question...just wondering if the ship changes to the local island time. (for instance, per the ship, we are supposed to arrive in Tortola at 8am. Is that really going to be 9am Tortola time, or does the ship already account for the change?) We just want to be sure we give ourselves enough time to catch the ferry for our excursion which leaves at 9.

Hope this makes sense! Thanks.
