Any difference between Freedom class 3 ships?

Is there any benefit to sailing on any of the freedom class ships over another?

 

I guess more particularly to families with younger children? Kids are 5 and 8 (or 9 depending on the date of sailing).

They're pretty much identical, except for the decor!

They're all the same ship, with the same amenities, but of course the itinerary is different. I think with kids of those ages, all you'll need is the aqua zone, and everyone will be happy:D

I have read here on CC that the pools on Indy are heated while Freedom & Liberty pools are not. This was done since Indy will be sailing part-time out of England and sails in some cooler climates.

The decor is the major (minor) difference.

The one big difference is that the INDY is the newest freedom class ship !! And will be leaving soon to be home ported in England..We will miss her 8 night itinerary in the Eastern Caribbean out of FLL....:(

You are not going to be able to observe or care about any differences, since you haven't been on any of them. :)

 

They all have the same amenities, but RC did learn a few things after Freedom's launch and before Liberty was finished. These are not things that you would notice: a few things were relocated on the Royal Promenade, and the Diamond Lounge has different outside access, for example.

 

Other posters have mentioned the heated pools on the Independence.

 

They are all beautiful ships, and you can book any of them with confidence that your children will LOVE their cruise. Book by the convenience of departure port, itinerary and price. (Liberty sails out of Miami; Freedom out of Port Canaveral)

 

Independence is here, now, sailing out of Fort Lauderdale, but leaves for Europe in the spring.
