Pam in CA Posted March 7, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) Answered my own question. Called Princess 8.5 x 12Unlikely it'll fit. It's a pretty small safe and even a netbook probably won't fit. They didn't give you how deep it is; it's not deep enough to put a laptop in. I just put my laptop on a shelf and have never had a problem. If you're concerned with security, leave it in a carry-on secured by a lock under the bed. paul929207 Posted March 7, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 7, 2010 Laptop will not fit unless it is very small. I leave my laptop out and have never had a problem.

gatour Posted March 7, 2010 #6 Share Posted March 7, 2010 And kind of an irrelevant question. Between cameras, laptops, ipods, cell phones etc. we bring on several thousands dollars worth of electronics when we cruise. We don't lock them up but don't leave them in open sight to the door. With this set up, have never had a problem on cruises or hotels.
hndapwr Posted March 7, 2010 #7 Share Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) To gatour who said "And kind of an irrelevant question." Irrelevant to who? The OP asked a legit question. Edited March 7, 2010 by hndapwr typo
Colo Cruiser Posted March 7, 2010 #8 Share Posted March 7, 2010 Another suggestion would be if the laptop has a slot for a cable lock, lock it to the desk.
orcoastcruiser Posted March 9, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 9, 2016 I called princess and the size of their safes on all their ships is: 12" deep, 8.5" wide & 7.75" high. My husband measured his macbook and it does not fit :(. Guess we'll just make sure we don't take too many pictures that we need it to download to & take our ipads instead! Rare Steelers0854 Posted March 9, 2016 #13 Share Posted March 9, 2016 Also don't forget that with the door not opening all the way you have to maneuver items (such an iPad) to get them into the safe even if they do fit.
