Bookbabe is right. There is plenty to do near the tenderdock. Eden Rock is a short walk to the right as you leave the dock. For more info read the first Sticky at the top of the Cayman board.

We walked to Eden Rock to snorkel and it was fantastic. We rented a locker for the day for $5 and that was our only expense.

Next time I think we will check out Cheeseburger reef which is in the other direction.

We took the submarine excursion(booked through the cruise), but basically you walk off the dock to the street, turn right and walk approx. 4 blocks. Coming back, we crossed the main road, and visited the museum, and there is the cutest gift shop mall with high end souveniers. Get off the main drag and the prices and unfortunately so does the quality. We really loved the Cayman's they are clean and beautiful.
