fredzy Posted April 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2010 Does the Zaandam have a Canaletto restaurant and if so does anyone have a copy of the menu. We are going on the Hawaii cruised Dec 8. Also, any suggestions as to which hotels we can spend a few hours at while in Honolulu. Thanks, Fredzy :)

Typhoon1 Posted April 15, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2010 Canaletto is worth a visit. It's a nice alternative to the MDR without any charge.

KirkNC Posted April 15, 2010 #6 Share Posted April 15, 2010 T4T I was thinking the same thing as that menu makes me hungary. It appears we will have to do without in July as HAL's website does not list one for the Noordam :( Kirk But upon further review the deck plan does show one so which is correct? catl331 Posted April 15, 2010 #7 Share Posted April 15, 2010 Oh yes, there is one on the Noordam! The antipasto is served on a huge tray and you pick which of the goodies you want. Some diners take a little of everything. Limoncello creme was great also.Buon Appetito!!:D:D

RuthC Posted April 15, 2010 #9 Share Posted April 15, 2010 Also, any suggestions as to which hotels we can spend a few hours at while in Honolulu. I'd head down to the Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki. It's a pretty view sitting at the bar there. And it looked like a great beach.
gigianne Posted April 16, 2010 #10 Share Posted April 16, 2010 Definitely try the Canaletto on the Noordam - it was a real nice change from either Lido or MDR dining. DH is not a great fan of Italian food - he chose the Cod - I had Veal and both were excellent. The antipasta that is served from a very large tray was wonderful - as were the salads and desserts. sail7seas Posted April 16, 2010 #15 Share Posted April 16, 2010 I thought the antipasto was good in Canaletto on Eurodam. The platter they pass around looks so appealing. Lots of nice choices.
