Does anyone know which blogs are remaining and whether any new ones are starting?

Haven't seen any recent updates. Southampton was probably a big day.

How do you find them unless someone tells you?

BTW Luck to some, but a wealth of experience to others! :)

it is all down hill from here so they should go faster LOL....

Hi Joanne

Have you seen the email today from one of the large cruise booking agents here in Australia offering guests the chance to win $10 000 obc by booking a cruise on next years world cruise? On top of that you also get $4000 obc. Princess must be keen to sell cabins!

$10 000 would buy a lot of drinks. Leanne:)

Thanks David.

From memory, Joanne said Brett had been sick with the flu and he uploaded his last blog in batches.

Re chance to win $10,000 obc, TA must know we're a nation of gamblers!

Booking early does have its advantages...

especially for a cruise like yours that requires so much planning.

My Atlantic initiation was an unforgetable experience, with ropes tied across all lift wells etc. so you could hold on as you went past, so you didn't fly across the ship. Everything was roped down, after furniture and the piano lifted. And I didn't get seasick.

My last TA was like a millpond, yet I knew people who felt seasick at the slightest ripple.

this is my second attempt at posting this... the first time we had a blackout mid sentence and now the power is back...

I have posted the link to this guys video's before, but I thought it appropriate to share again.... this video is of the crossing of the atlantic with the QE2 and queen victoria in tandem... rough ... did you say rough LOL....

hmm just one thing did anyone notice that the ship is going left to right at the begining and then goes right to left towards the end.... am I missing something here... but that can't happen can it LOL....

I saw that too. I think I would rather they dropped the prices a bit instead of a 'chance' at winning $10000.00.;)

Can we please change this conversation??

We will be sailing from Southampton on 15 January - so our first introduction to an Atlantic "crossing" (North to South) will be in the Northern Hemisphere winter!!:eek:

Although -- it is the luck of the draw on the day . You can see here why they are making hard work of it right now. ( Green/Yellow?Orange) Elsewhere in the Atlantic it is like a mill pond ( purple) atlantic.jpg

Patience!

Good things come to those who wait.

Did you see the Titantic display on Getaway? The cost of cruising then was sooooooo expensive, and wasn't anything like todays cruise ships.
