39august Posted June 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2010 Can I get some input on how MTD is on Radiance, please? And are there plenty of tables for two? (Please no lectures on how I should enjoy dining with others. Been there, done that and had some unpleasant experiences.)
cb at sea Posted June 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2010 There should be plenty of 2-tops...most MTDers like to eat alone.

CruisinDawn Posted June 11, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2010 Any Radiance cruisers out there? If cb at sea said yes I would take it as a yes. We have had tables for 2 on several cruises, some more desirable then others but they were always available. What you need to do is request a table for two asap, once onboard confirm with the M'tradee that you have one as well as visually since your table number is on your seapass. Can't say even doing all of that it is a guarantee, once they jammed 3 tables for two together once we were all on our way to dinner the first night. One couple protested and never returned, the other couple only showed up twice so we still kinda had a table for two. I understand where your coming from, there are cruises we share and others that it is just about us. Goodluck. BonVoyage Dawna
NEWCRUISER176 Posted June 11, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 11, 2010 :)Hello 39august We've just got back from b2b2b (28days) on the Radiance and enjoyed MTD we had no problem booking a table for 2, although we favoured the later dining time usually 8.15pm - 8.30pm. We were seated in the same area each evening as we had wonderful service from Henriette and Alexandra and requested one of their tables. On a couple of occasions we joined other diners (our choice) and John the Greeter was able to arrange this for us. The food and service was excellent and we loved the ship and her crew. Bye Marylyne:)

BonVoyage Dawna Oops, maybe I should have reread the question, my answer does not apply to MTD, sorry. Maybe it will help someone else.
suzyluvs2cruise Posted June 11, 2010 #7 Share Posted June 11, 2010 We've done MTD on the Radiance several times. On our recent b2b cruises in April we had a table for two at 7pm each evening. There are quite a few 2 tops with many being right next to the window. It was wonderful. :) Enjoy!!!!!
