Picture with the Captain?

Has anyone of you ever took a picture with the Captain of your ship? If so then please post:D

We haven't, but we pass by many, many passengers who seem to get a thrill from that...so yes, lots of folks have taken pictures with the Captain.

Well, I have had some taken...not professionally, just with my own camera.

I've sailed with some very personable and friendly captains....:)

But as Rick stated, why post the picture?:confused:

I used to do it every cruise. Then some cruise lines started charging for it....

on bridge tour on X and they took the pictures as no cameras were allowed on the bridge...and I has to purchase it...

On our first cruise on the VOS, the captain took pictures with everyone that wanted it on the first formal night. It was our first cruise and we were excited and I bought the pictures. Now it's not a big thing to us...I'm not certain we ever even saw the captain on any subsequent cruises.

My 3 year old grandson in his captain suit with the captain. I attached the photo- let me know if it didn't go.

We have pictures of us with the Captain on Several ships, as the Captain usually appears a the Crown and Anchor functions. The most memorable picture is me on the Sovereign of the Seas during her final cruise. I will try and track that on down.

l had my photo taken with the captain on my very first cruise. We all had the opportunity to meet him in a reception line as we entered the captain's cocktail party on formal night. Sorry...pictures are in storage so can't post them.

 

I haven't seen the opportunity to have such pictures taken since. However, a friend of mine and I did spot a couple of officers near the gangway in Nassau a couple of years ago. I can't remember who the other officer was but we did have our photo taken with the first officer!

We did once or twice when we were new to cruising and thought it was the thing to do to stand in a long line to have a photo taken, but I think they're residing in a photo album somewhere.

We had a bridge tour on the Enchantment a few years ago. We had our pictures taken with the Captain.I can't post them because they were taken with a film:eek: camera.

I change my signature up all the time so this time I figure WHY NOT add in Captain Rob (taken on his last sailing on Grandeur). So if you have the signatures turned on, you'll see him and I on the right hand side of one of my flashes.

I had but i didnt buy it , i wanted a picture using the brackground wit my family so I told the captain not to be in the second picture
