You have got an excellent upgrade! We booked a BE guarantee and also received a BA upgrade on a December cruise on the Crown. You will be happy. Much bigger balcony!

Caribe deck is the best. Nice room with a large balcony, 1/2 covered, 1/2 uncovered. You are midship which is great. Convenient location. Great upgrade and you will never want less. Enjoy!

Princess' computers must have been busy. I got my assignment too for my 3/13 CB cruise. BF Gty to BA! My gty assignments have always been to BB. So going from bottom to top is special.

 

But my assignment is on Lido deck near forward stairs. I'd normally call and get it changed to Caribe deck. However, if the price drops again, I'd put myself back into the gty pool to get the reduction. So guess I'll just keep what I have for now.

 

Still it's always exciting to get assigned.

We have a guarantee on a cruise this winter. All balcony categories are either sold out or guaranteed only. 'Twill be interesting, but being in the Carib in the middle of winter is the main attraction.

We're on the Ruby 2/13 and I'm anxious as well. I checked right after I read this, but still no cabin:(! The wait is driving me crazy!

I'm wondering if most of us without assignments on the CB for Jan. are the B2B's? I still don't have an assignment, but my sister, who is only on 1 leg of our trip, got her assignment this week. I thought B2B would be assigned first.

 

It's my sister's first cruise, and I did all the booking, planning, etc. for her. She bought a lower guarantee than me. I have been hoping for an upgrade to Caribe deck for several cruises, but none have appeared. Guess what she gets? BA--Caribe deck; guess I know whose balcony we'll be congregating on!

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but I called Princess for a price reduction a few days before my cabin assignment showed up!! Perhaps it was THE $200 I saved that prompted them to assign a cabin???:p

We were upgraded to C108, which is the Caribe balcony, but all the way forward......balcony was fantastic, but never again for me to the front of the ship......you should be great, you are in the middle!
