I havent been on the Liberty, but I'm sure there's plenty of info on here about her. Try doing a seach for her here or on Google. I was googling the Liberty of the Seas and alot of stuff, especially videos were coming up for the LOS and Carnival Liberty.

I am set to cruise on Liberty June 4,2011, should I choose a different ship? I don't see too much written about this ship, only a few things.

We are doing the Liberty in May, we have only heard wonderful things about her, we we are looking forward to a Cabana while on the beach at hmc, we are doing the Eastern

I have been on the Liberty twice and I love that ship! She is quite lovely on the inside and doesn't really have a flashy, over-the-top decor like some ships (as in the Valor's over the top American theme). I quite like the casino as it was very nice to me on the last cruise...

Why woud anyone consider changing cruises because they didnt find that many reviews of a certain ship ... I see this a lot, everyone says their ship has fewer reviews they see, does that mean its a bad ship? Id say the opposite as if there were problems people are more apt to write a review to warn people.

FYI, I stated this because I was thinking about changing to the Dream only because of seeing more info in reviews regarding what there is to do "on" the cruise not because I want to change because I haven't found enough "bad" reviews of the Liberty. We are young (at least I like to think so) and would like to have ALOT of activities and night life going on not a ship that's dead after a certain time.

Besides the "Reviews" section here on CC, you can also see a lot about the Liberty on YouTube. You will be amazed at how lovely she is from the moment you board ! (The atrium is spectacular)! I haven't sailed on her yet, but from all the reviews I've read and YouTube videos, I pretty much got to know the Liberty and can't wait to sail on her ! Don't worry, it won't be dead after a certain time :)

I have been on the Liberty a few years ago had a great cruise. There is plenty of things to do. Only you can decide if you want to change to the Dream it is a newer ship has some different things to do. They are both great ships so you need to decide what you want. Get what you want you will have a great time on either.

We were on the Liberty last May and did the Eastern Caribbean. ( we liked it so much we are repeating it again this year.) The itinerary is amazing. Half Moon Cay is the best beach ever. The Liberty always seemed to have a great nightlife and lots of activities. Which ever you choose, I am sure you will have a great time. Enjoy!!!

We just got back on November 13 - we loved the Liberty! We did the Western (GC, OR, Cozumel), and had a great time! The crew was fantastic (don't know how they remembered my name all the time), the MDR service was fantastic, room was great, love our aft-cabin. I have no complaints.

We were on in August and it was great range of ages from 16 to 47 and never lacked for something to do. Western Caribbean ports were great, climbed the water falls and swam with the dolphins in OR. Cant go wrong with the Liberty.

That actually has more to do with who is on the cruise with you (other pax), not so much the ship or the crew or the amenities. I'd much rather sail the Liberty, with consistently ratio of poor reviews to good ones).

WOW, thank you all, great, great info. I will definitely be staying with Liberty. Yeah, Dream is new and big with alot to do, but based off the great comments I will DEF be sticking with Liberty. I know I am the final deciding factor whether it's a good cruise or not but I like knowing that there is are many positive comments regarding her. Thank y'all so much. We are doing the Western Carib? Yeah, just looked on Carnival, it's Western. I'm looking forward to tasting some Big Black D*** on Grand Cayman. They said it is made EXCLUSIVELY there. That is so cool.:D

Not sure what happened to my post, lol, but it was SUPPOSED to read that I'd rather sail on the Liberty (with the relatively few reviews that are out there being good) than the Dream (who consistantly has a higher ratio of poor reviews to good ones), lol. :o

from the Liberty. She is a gorgeous ship with the most amazing crew. The wait staff in the Golden Dining Room was consistently attentive every night. We did our time dining and never had a problem - even getting our favorite serving trio most nights. The entertainment was tops with a full stage band which I hear not every ship has these days. There was far more to do than we could fit in and we tried to see/do as much as possible.
