Placa Catalunya - Barcelona

professor

Recommended Posts

I don't know why only "4" or "5" star but we stayed at the Hotel Olivia right on circle there and were very happy. Small lobby, great service and very neat modern rooms, couldn't have been more convenient.

I trust TripAdvisor and guide-book recommendations only to a point, and am looking for CruiseCritic recommendations for good hotels in Barcelona's Placa Catalunya neighborhood. By "good," I mean 4- and 5-star properties.

Thanks!

We are too cheap for the 4-5 stars and tend to go 3 star. We stayed at the Hotel Inglaterra right across from Hotel Jazz, about two blocks from the Placa Catalunya. It was a nice hotel for about 2/3's of Hotel Jazz price. The Placa Catalunya is a great area to stay.
