Full size hair products?

Can I check full size hair care products in my luggage on Carnival Legend? We leave tomorrow and I am packing now...would hate to be limited to 3 oz.

I brought full-size shampoo & conditioner on the Miracle. I don't think there is any rule against it. It would have to be checked if you're flying, but I think it's only the airlines that restrict non-beverage fluids.

YES .. anything you want to bring, bring it. No limit on liquids.

 

carry on your soda and wine though. only.

Those are airline rules, not ship rules....

Enjoy your first cruise btw! It is exciting, I remember not being able to sleep for weeks before my first one.... and second... LOL

Just a tip: I pack full size bottles - that are 3/4 (or more) empty! (and I am talking about shampoos, conditioners, other hair products, facial cleansers, eye makeup remover, etc) I use them at home til almost done, then put them away for my upcoming cruise (yes hopefully there is one! :D)....then pack in CHECKED luggage (I fly in), use them on the ship - actually finish them on the ship then chuck the bottles in the garbage! Extra space/less weight coming home - YAY!

This is a good idea (and I try to do the same). Also, pack the stuff in ziploc (or similar bags). I once had a bottle of shampoo pop open and leak on my clothes. It was a pain to clean up and put a damper on the first day of my vacation cause I had to do laundry.

yes definitely a variety of ziplocks makes packing a lot easier - pack anything that might leak in them! (and then you have extra plastic bags for the way home should you need them!)

There are no liquid restrictions on the ship....it's only airlines that prohibit liquids. (in carry-ons)...you can bring GALLONS either in checked or carry-on bags to the ship.
