2011 Princess TA Coupon Book changes.

It was posted elswhere that the "good" Princess Coupon Book for 2011 cruises , no longer contains the popular Buy-1 Get-1 Coffee Card coupon.:(

 

Does anyone that may be aboard (or just back) and received one on their 2011 cruise , have a list of the coupons in it for 2011 to post here ?

 

Again , this is the coupon book ordered by TA's for their clients cruising on Princess and not the other worthless Princess Coupon book that's in every cabin..

Sorry I can't answer this question but have one of my own regarding these coupon books. Do all TAs have access to them? I've asked my TA but she doesn't know what I'm talking about.

No, all TA's do not have access to them. So, I am sure your TA is giving you an honest answer on this one. They are part of a promotion for some TA's and if I am not mistaken, they are in some way linked to a TA cruise night that some attended in FL. (not positive about that one, but I seem to remember something being mentioned about that in the past).

Agencies that book a lot of Princess may have as many a 1 a month .

 

During these sales , the Coupon Book , reduced deposits and perhaps an OBC are offered for new bookings.

They may also have a selection of speculative groups on various ships/sailings that may offer a lower rate and additional OBC' , wine , gift, ect..

 

Just ask your TA to inform you when the next Princess cruise Night is.

MCC, thanks for the full explanation, I definitely had some of my ideas wrong on that one. I knew it had something to do with 'cruise night' but thought that was the TA thing in Florida. Appreciate you explaining further. ;)

Does anyone know when the "World's Largest Cruise Night" will be in 2011? I think that event is what the previous poster was referring to. Seems it was October in 2010, Princess offered the booklet ($325 of savings in coupons) and a reduced deposit of $100/cabin.

 

Looking forward to hearing about the coupon book as well!

The are held by individual local cruise agencies in their stores or at special sights. You are correct the last one was in October. It usually is in October, if an agency participates.

They seem to be tied to a lot of the $100 deposit specials that many travel agents have. If you book during that time, even if you use a FCC, you can still get the coupon books.

At least one on-line travel agency is offering the TA coupon books for new Princess bookings this week (thru Friday). Unfortunately, without the BOGO coffee card coupon, they just aren't worth the paper they were printed on. Glad we redeemed four of the coffee card coupons last year. I should have enough cards left from that purchase to get thru our cruise in Nov. Maybe Princess will listen to the complaints here and bring that coupon back for next year.
