wripro Posted February 24, 2011 #31 Share Posted February 24, 2011 Sodas and waters are included. Not bar drinks and a virgin anything is considered a bar drink. Except of course a diet Coke which could be considered a virgin Coke.

nancy2406 Posted February 27, 2011 #34 Share Posted February 27, 2011 Does anyone know if the iced tea served on Oceania ships is fresh brewed or the soda fountain type? Trying to decide if I need to pack cold brew tea bags. Thanks for your help. Nancy
SkystheLimit Posted February 27, 2011 #35 Share Posted February 27, 2011 Is diet tonic water available? Thanks
Toranut97 Posted February 27, 2011 #36 Share Posted February 27, 2011 Nancy, I think the iced tea is soda fountain type. I only say this because there was a woman who was making quite a stink in the MDR on our last cruise about how she had arranged with the manager to have her iced tea properly brewed, blah, blah, blah. I never would have noticed the difference, but I guess if it is important to you, schlepp along those tea bags! (Or arrange to have yours brewed, as the lady on our ship did. Apparently the kitchen accommodated.)

We found the iced tea to just fine for our needs.:)
nancy2406 Posted February 27, 2011 #38 Share Posted February 27, 2011 Thanks for your feedback on the iced tea. I'm not going to be one to make a fuss about the tea, but do enjoy fresh brewed. So it looks like the tea bags will come along and I'll be quietly brewing my own. Nancy

Thanks I have the same question, as I have a diet tonic before bed every night to stave off leg cramps...I'ts probably all in my mind ;)but it seems to help..When we're on other cruise lines I bring my own diet tonic, but if it's supplied I can instead pack another pair of shoes..:)LOL Thanks...:)Betty
