transportation from Fort Lauderdale to Port of Miami

We will need transportation from Fort Lauderdale to the Port of Miami in June. There is going to be a group of 4 adults and 1 child (5 years old). What is the best way to get from on point to the other? We were looking at the transportation with Carnival Cruise Lines - the cost is $30 each way per person, which is going to total $300. Anybody have any other suggestions?

SAS shuttle charges $15 pp each way, $30 round trip, but if you can all get into one taxi, maybe they have a cheaper taxi rate.

Totally agree. QLS were top quality - from the moment of my first email to them right down to keeping us up to date on our pick ups. Karina was great.

we use SAS also. with 5 pax its $13 each or $130 RT.

For 5 of you plus bags a mini-van cab for about $85 is another reasonable option. The ride takes about 35-40 minutes. Good luck! :)

We flew into Fll for a Miami cruise a few years ago. there were 4 of us. We hired a car service to take us. it was about $100 plus tip. Our hotel gave us the name of the car service, and I don't remember what it was. But it was so much better then waiting for the Carnival transportation.

We have flown into FLL a couple of times and sailed out of Miami. We have always just done a one way rental from Alamo. Picked up the car at FLL drove to Alamo drop off then took there free shuttle to the Pier. Cost was under $50.
