how far in advance should i book a alaska cruise??

Hi

 

either in may or early june, i want to do a cruise, it will probably be on either celebrity or norwegian

 

how far in advance should i book if i want a balcony room?? in january 2012 is too late or should i book before chrysmas time while everyone are probably too busy preparing they xmas time to care about their summer holidays?

Supply and demand, who knows what will the economy be like.

If it tanks wait till the end. If it is hot, better book early.

 

I would say Dec. for May and Jan. for June should still find availability for everything but the very most exclusive and limited things like suites. General balcony should be available on most ships, YMMV.
