Care to share which ship is your favorite

Recommended Posts

I loved the Jewel and the Dawn and fondly remember my first cruise on the Norway, but...

The Sun is the first ship I ached to return to. So I have booked a return in the same aft PH with the fantastic huge balcony. I adore Il Adagio, even though they might change the name or menu, it's the atmosphere and ambience that is so special. I loved having breakfast at that little window table.

Cruising the Sun again will be like going home, it really doesn't matter where she goes. For me, it's about the ship, and that aft suite.

Epic! We had the best time on the Epic. We couldn't wait to book again and doubt that anything smaller will ever meet our needs/wants.

These are the two ships ive been wanting to try; the Pearl & Pride of America are the other two I wanna try as well.

Ive been on The NCL Sky and Sun sister ships both alike.. Hard to tell which ship u was actually on.. But the Sun was better because of the larger room and the Brizilian Steakhouse! I cant wait to travel again We are looking and the Pearl Or Sun next spring for a honeymoon cruise!

The Spirit. I have sailed on her 5 times now.

Tastefully decorated, my favorite size in a ship, 75k. I have zero interest in McMall sized ships with cartoon characters. But thankfully we all don't like the same things.

Hands down the best staff I have encountered on any cruise line on over 25 cruises.

In talking to the crew they mention that due to the smaller size they all seem to know each other and take pride in working on the Spirit. It's obvious.

I honestly don't have a favorite. I've found things that I enjoyed about all of the ships...except for maybe the NCL Dream, which was just too oddly laid out.

The only one that I'm really interesting in repeating specifically is the Epic because when I sailed her (on her first TA) they were still bringing a lot of things online. I'd like to see what's she like now with everything up and running.

Oh and the PoA because I want to go back to Hawaii! :D

I've been on the Dawn & the Star, too many things I loved to list.

Can't wait to start on the Jewel class ships next. Really not interested in the Epic at this time for a number of reasons.

I probably would have felt that way about the Dawn and Star as well, but as luck would have it I said the Dawn before drydock and the Star after drydock. Which was kinda cool really.

Hey CruiseAdict218

If you are a gambler, I don't think Pride of America has a casino... Someone correct me if I am wrong... I know ships that sell in American waters does not have any gambling...

I've only been on the Gem and the Jewel so far, but I prefer the Gem because it has an very nice, big SPA! I love the seating in the Spinnaker and Bliss Lounge. They are great places to relax and read or to just have a relaxing place to enjoy your surroundings.

@Cruisin'cockney what did you think of the Pride of Aloha before she became the Norwegian Sky again??

My first NCL experience and it encouraged us to come back! However, it is not as plush as the Jewel class ships or the Epic which have spoilt me and mean that I wouldn't go back to the Sky.
