Out of curiosity, why does it matter who the Captain will be on any sailing, prior to sailing? :confused:

I'm not tojofo, but can say there are a couple of Captains that I would love to sail with again - and it would be fun to know I could look forward to that.

Same here, and, when I am organizing meet and greets I like to prepare the invites before I get on board:D

All the captains I've sailed with have been pleasant and efficient. There are some, however, who I would love to sail with again, especially on very long cruises when I've had the opportunity to interface with them more often before. It's an "ambience" thing.

Veendam's captain on that cruise is scheduled to be Peter Harris - always subject to change!!

Rarely do we sail with the same captain.

Too often we don't recognize the captain's name, the hotel manager or the CD.
