what cruise line compare to princess

My wife ans I live in Las Vegas.We are looking for a a cruise itinerary out of Los angeles,San Diego,or San Francisco.Princerss has nothing we are interested in.Is their another cruise line that may compare to Princess or even a little Better.

 

Princess is always our first chioce

Your only other option (disregarding Carnival) is HAL out of San Diego. But I think your main problem is that there are not a lot of options in itineraries. Geography limits itineraries. EM

Thanks for your reply.even if we choose to cruise out of Florida.what cruise will compare to princess.That will give me that great customer service and good food

HAL used to be a good choice but starting next year they'll still be smoking on the balconies whereas Princess will have stopped that. The cruisers are much older & it's generally much more formal.

I think Celebrity and HAL are fairly comparable to Princess Cruise style. IMHO

I agree Celebrity is comparable. I have not been on HAL yet, so I cannot comment on that.

We like Princess, Celebrity, and HAL. They're all basically the same--a lot depends on the itinerary and the time of year you sail.

My favorites are Princess, Holland America and Celebrity with Princess and HAL being preferred. They are all very similar and have good food, good service and beautiful ships.

Agree with geoherb. HAL, Princess, and Celebrity about the same quality. Minor nuances between the three lines.

I have found HAL to be very comparable. It is a bit sedate, though.:)
