tizzylizz Posted April 9, 2012 #777 Share Posted April 9, 2012 I bought this yesterday:) if any of you are interested, SOMA'S sellsmore than just intimate wear! Dresses too and they are having a sale:) I love this dress.....it is not in the same genre as Maria's beautiful formalwear but I still love it;) I need to find a shrug....thinking red for a pop of color:) I love that dress! A red shrug would be adorable with it...hope you can find one. Although, they are so popular now, you shouldn't have much trouble. :). lizz

Rare Lois R Posted April 9, 2012 #780 Share Posted April 9, 2012 Lois, that dress is adorable! Would a shrug in sapphire go nicely? You'd look good in either color. Yes, a blue would go with it too..thanks:) but when I tried the red one on? It looked REALLY GOOD:D

Rare Lois R Posted April 9, 2012 #783 Share Posted April 9, 2012 I have good news:D I forgot I have a really nice fine gage knit cardigan here at home. It is not as short as a shrug and I really like it alot. I would say it is plum or in the plum color family. It will be perfect:) It is 3/4 sleeves with some pretty embellishment near one of the shoulders....a bit dimensional....sort of like a flower but not "too much".......I am happy:)

notme1955 Posted April 12, 2012 #794 Share Posted April 12, 2012 (edited) Not sure this is going to work, but here goes. These are two dresses I'm planning to bring with me on our upcoming cruise. I'm most concerned about the teal one. It's nothing like anything I've ever worn in my life. It's much more form fitting than anything I'd normally choose. I love it, but I'm not sure it looks o.k. Neither dress is something I'd usually wear, actually, as I never wear sleeveless dresses for obvious reasons. However, a lot of my current body problems come from having lost 143 lbs. I feel good, but am no longer sure what looks good or what is even appropriate any more. Right now, I'm feeling like nothing looks good. I thought shopping would be easier, but it's much more confusing now. So, what do you think? Please be honest, I can take it. Should I forget these and look for something else, or are these be o.k? (Oh, yeah, I'm sure hair and makeup will help the overall look, so please try to ignore that!) Thanks! Edited April 12, 2012 by notme1955

tizzylizz Posted April 12, 2012 #800 Share Posted April 12, 2012 Both dresses are very pretty, but, the teal one really compliments your figure & I like the color! If I had lost that amount of weight, I'd show off my curves too! :)
