Celeb excursions ending MIA

Has anyone taken the Celeb Ft Lauderdale sightseeing excursion (bus tour followed by 'stern wheeler' trip on Intracoastal) ending up at MIA (ending at FLL would be similar)? Was it any good? What sort of time did you get dropped at MIA? Just deciding whether to do this rather than going to FLL, getting a rental car, parking, going on water taxi and then driving to MIA. Its only £5.50 (about $7.50) each difference and we thought it might just be less hassle.

Cruiseline excursions usually get you to the airport by 1-1:30 as I remember. The excursion begins very early. If you have a very late flight, it's probably better to spend the day with a rental. Those excur. are okay if you have a 3:00 or 4:00 flight. Otherwise you end up still sitting at the airport quite a long time.
