Will the ship still be decorated?

Doubtful. They'll probably start taking down decorations Jan. 1st or 2nd. Then the holiday season is officially over.

DH and I cruised New Years Eve and the Christmas decorations had already been taken down when we got on the boat. It was disappointing but did not ruin our cruise.

On our first cruise we sailed on Jan 1. All the decorations were up when we boarded but by the end of the cruise, poof, all gone.

There are not a lot of decorations on the ships to begin with. They will come down on the first turn around day after Christmas day. All you will miss is a little bit of garland and a single tree.

We were on the Pride which sailed January 1 and holiday decorations were still up including a huge Menorah.

 

Believe it was taken down the last day of our cruise.

We sailed on the Conquest on Jan. 2 and there were no holiday decorations at all.

I have done five consecutive NYE cruises with Carnival. The decorations usually disappear by the morning of the 2nd.

We sailed on the Sensation last New Years and the Christmas stuff was still up. Looked nice.

I agree! We are sailing Conquest on 12/4 and I hope the decorations aren't too overblown. I'm going to be in more of a tropical mood.

We sailed the Liberty the 1st week of December in 2007 and the Christmas decorations were up when we boarded.

We set sail on the Inspiration on January 1 last year. The holiday decorations were up at the beginning of the cruise, but were gone by the end. The funny thing was, I didn't even notice until I looked at my photos of the ship's atrium when got home! :o
