I'm not trying to criticize. I understand it. Occasionally someone doesn't understand the parenthesis arrangement. Maybe lining it up with the on duty concierge first with the off duty concierge info totally in parenthesis next would be easier for those unfamiliar with who generally works where.

 

It's fine with me how it is. Some have just expressed confusion and need explanations.

 

Of course some don't understand the captain list from time to time and it is pretty basic in it's layout.

 

I certainly didn't mean to offend you. It would never get done if I did it. I'm too busy on ships conducting research :)

Reyno got on EN on Oct. 28 -- the first day of our cruise on the ship.

 

We just got off Enchantment, and to put it nicely, we were underwhelmed by Reyno. Most nights he never even looked up from his computer to say hello to anyone. That was a first for me.

See, this is what I mean. Not everyone clicks with or perceives a concierge the same way.

 

I had heard so many wonderful things about Reyno that I didn't think he could possibly be that special. After meeting him, I think he's one of the greatest. He's fun, helpful and very personable. Sure he sits at his desk like they all must do when they have a lot of things to get done for people. Some cruises require more of that than others. But he's always approachable even when seated and gets up to socialize as time permits.

 

I've always been greeted by him as I walked in the door as long as he wasn't involved with someone else's needs who was standing at his desk.

You might even want to add the word "Suite" in front of the first concierge since not everyone is a regular RCI cruiser and might not understand the difference between the two concierges.

 

 

won't work.., D+ and Pinnacle also have access to the Concierge/Suite Lounge. at least for the time being. who knows if the oft repeated rumor of D+ being 'kicked out' of the CL and relegated to the D Lounge alone will ever come to fruition.

Just wanted to stop by and give a thumbs up to Larissa Curduneanu for answering emails. She seems very personable. She is on Navigator right now. :D

 

We met Larissa on Oasis this spring and she is a Sweetie. :)

She was working Guest Services at the time, but would visit the DL on a lot of nights to chat and we really liked her.

 

She told us she fills in as needed as D Concierge, or Concierge and transferred to Legend as Concierge shortly after Oasis.

Actually it would work because that is what they are now known as since the diamond lounges have been added. D+ and PC know the difference between the two titles for the concierges. But those who don't cruise often and have concierge lounge access will be in suites and then make use of the suite concierge.

 

But really, the list can be left exactly how it is. I have the ability to figure it out and others can just ask if they don't understand it like someone recently did.

For those who are fans of Beresford as the bartender in the concierge lounge on Radiance, he is expected back on December 1 through most of the Alaska season until August. Hopefully, after a long absence, he will be slipped back into his former position in the CL.

YEAH, he is my favorite part of the CL on Radiance. We ran into him on the Vision last Dec & were shocked!! Have been in and out of touch with him, but not recently, and he had said he didn't think he would be on RD when I go late June. SO glad that has changed!!!

We were on the Independence TransAtlantic (during the Pilot Drink Program) and spent time in the overflowing Diamond Lounge observing Mel. She should be given a trophy for the effort that she put forth to serve the guests. It was as if she were everywhere at the same moment: mixing drinks, serving drinks, answering questions, solving problems.
