Buranogal Posted November 23, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2011 After reading reviews didnt pay deposit for HCL mediterannean trip. So who knows best for entertainment and dining and fun.
paul929207 Posted November 23, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 23, 2011 i think you need to be more specific about what you want. You are unlikely to find one cruise ship or cruise line that is best for entertainment, dining and fun.
CruiserBruce Posted November 23, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Without knowing anything about you, how can we recommend anything? On our last sailing we only had 800 Aussies on our HAL ship. So, I think there is fun to be had. Plus a Med trip is all about the Ports, history, art, buildings etc.
Rare Hlitner Posted November 23, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 23, 2011 We will echo CruiserBruce's comments (with which we agree). Most European cruises are very port intensive and most informed cruisers choose their cruises for the ports and itinerary (times and days of the week in ports). Since ships often have long port days and passengers do lots of touring on land....it is common to find many passengers ready for bed by 11 (or earlier). lovevacadays Posted November 24, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 24, 2011 What was it about HCL? that you did't like in the reviews? What is important to you in your cruise? You need to provide more information and people will be able to help you
chipmaster Posted November 24, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 24, 2011 Welcome to CC, IMHO you got your priorities backwards. You are flying from some far away place, will pay big bucks for airfare and cabin. Then you are going to the Med  The Med is all about the ports/cities random and non signficant places like Rome, Athens, Istanbul, Cairo etc. etc. I'd say pick the ship for the ports you want vesus the dining and fun. The fun comes from the ports in the Med! After reading reviews didnt pay deposit for HCL mediterannean trip. So who knows best for entertainment and dining and fun. Jimnbigd Posted November 29, 2011 #7 Share Posted November 29, 2011 You are from Australia. Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas is sailing from Sydney Nov. 24, 2012 through Feb. 10, 2013. I can recommend it. Also, Nov. 5, 2012, is a Perth-to-Sydney cruise, and Feb. 19, 2013, is a Sydney-to-Perth cruise for this ship. If you want a Mediterannean cruise you might look at the RCI Liberty of the Seas (April through October).
