How far between ships !

we are on the grand tomorrow, come back to fort laurderdale next sat get on crown for two weeks, my question is can you walk between the ships one docks at pier 22 and other is at 2.could get taxi but they get kinda mad if you don't go to far. thanks in advance:)

It is a very long walk.....take a taxi. THere will be a minimum charge of 10 or 15 dollars

We had table mates that were switching from Crown to another Princess ship a couple of weeks ago. They went to Pursers desk and were told a Princess rep would escort them off the ship fairly late and Princess would pick up the tab for the taxi.

We are doing the same in 5 weeks time we are on the crown for 2 weeks then transferring to,the grand for 3 so will definitely go to the pursers desk and ask them to sort it out for us hadn't really thought about it until I saw this thread so thank you for the info. :)
