I turned ours in on the 17th as well.. Received the email confirming they received it and that it could take 7 to 10 days... If thats all days I shoud find out today, but if it's working days I won't find out until Tuesday... I just want the obc! This is the first time I've tried and I probably messed something up. But I will keep a good thought because I GET TO GO ON A CRUISE WITH OR WITHOUT THE OBC!!!:D

This was posted yesterday over in Funville.

RE: ES Delays.

I know we are a little backed up as we have had some changes within our company and our email services. (New applications)

If you want to email me the details I will pass it to that department for you.

Has anyone submitted an ES form in the last two weeks? If so, how long did it actually take to get a response? Its been 9 days so far, and I have not heard anything.

Thank you! I was wondering the same thing but didn't even think about looking here. Should have come here 1st!

I was just telling my husband that I "NEEDED" to hear from ES folks at Carnival! Submitted 9 days ago and thought perhaps the Thanksgiving holiday had put them behind. My dropped fare is still there and I keep printing the page. Would be $242 OBC if/when they accept and I'm chomping at the bit to see if they actually give it it us! Excited as that is a LOT of buckets of beer!

I might call my PVP tomorrow and see what he says.

Thanks again...I hope we ALL get a positive reply soon!

I had sent mine in Monday, and received the "it will take 7-10 days" message back. Today my category totally sold out. I am hoping I won't have any problem - I printed out a copy of the page showing the new price (didn't know how to take a screen shot, whatever that is). Hoping to hear by the end of this week, if not sooner.

I went thru my pvp on 11/17. He made a note in my file with the date and the new fare( in case it went back up). He couldnt make the adjustment, but made those notations and sent a copy of the DD214(Military rate was actually lower than ES). I figured the holiday would slow them down further. Gonna call on 12/1 to dbl check if its not posted.

Still no "apply or deny" from my 11/17 ES submission...and last night I see my category is down another $10, so I applied again.

I am using Carnival's fare viewer and see the lower price for my category; yet when I try putting in a "fake" reservation the cost is NOT lower. Wondering if the dependency has anything to do with the slow time??

I have printed the date & time stamped price page daily "just in case" there are questions. Trying to NOT get too excited about the $242 possible OBC in case somehow they deny it...but it's hard not to! My brain keeps reminding me that "if it sounds too good to be true...".

So...has anyone who has posted here gotten a reply yet??

I submitted the form on 11/15 and just got an email yesterday (11/29)saying that Early Saver Request had been approved. If you are past final payment, I encourage you to go to the Carnival website and double check the "My Billing" section. Even though our rate had dropped $20, tax increases had us owing $3 and some odd cents by 11/29 (with no OBC)! I called my PVP ... first she said that due to tax increase, I would be best to stay at old rate and that they would make an adjustment (no $20 OBC). After further conversation with her supervisor, she did give us the $20 OBC and the extra tax was removed. PVP told me to contact her in the future if I see a price drop ... she will process the Early Saver Form and make sure there's no future confusion.

Valuable note to self: Always check "My Billing!"

Well, that gives me hope! Mine was the 18th. I check "My billing" AND view my docs at least twice a day hoping to see OBC applied & perhaps my email confirmation in "junk mail" or something. Nope. Nada.

Today, after the price going down for 12 days, I see someone snatched up the last cabin in my category and no price is showing. I HOPE they honor what it said 12 days ago.

I tried calling my PVP but he is on a cruise himself till Monday. He left someone else I could talk to; so think I'll just call them. I've never had it taken so long. Yesterday I seriously thought about posting on FB to John Heald since he seems to get on things when brought to his attention; but chickened out! Don't want to be a complainer...till I need to!

Ok, just sent the fleet 114 chefs table reservations. Also I was just sent this. Just as an FYI; we have a new system and the Early Saver forms are backed up; I believe they are back 2 weeks so please excuse any delay. Cheers

SO, My suggestion....

If you are cruising within the next 2 weeks and haven't heard back, try calling 1-800-794-6225... They should be able to help you...

If you are not cruising within the next 2 week, keep watching for the credit....

Called them, they can't help. No one could give any answer as to what to do or if a OBC for future cruises or refund to the original card would be issued. I am cruising in 3 days and there has been a $60 drop in the rate.
