beshears Posted January 25, 2012 #51 Share Posted January 25, 2012 Well instead of long pants, I did a sun dress, and it worked out fine. :) This way I can still be cool, and if it is still tool cool, I can put a sweater (always carry one for "just in case") or a jacket on. overeasy Posted January 25, 2012 #52 Share Posted January 25, 2012 We have boarded wearing long pants, but I stubbornly changed into shorts before sail-away. So I was wearing shorts and t-shirt with a plaid flannel shirt for a "jacket". Yikes. The Galveston cruisecam, December 2010.
Rare geoherb Posted January 25, 2012 #53 Share Posted January 25, 2012 We wore shorts on our flight to Florida last month. The people riding the shuttle bus from parking guessed correctly that we were heading south. They were going north to Philadelphia and were dressed much more warmly. Most of the time, we like to fly down the day before our cruise. When we've flown down the day of, if we don't wear our shorts, we make sure we pack them in our carryon luggage so that we can change into them immediately after getting to the ship instead of having to wait for our luggage to be delivered.
