Bargain cruise on Oriana

Recommended Posts

We were seriously tempted by this one but had to decide against it. There could be someone else who can do it. Obviously I can't mention TA's names but any agency would be able to do it.

Leave Bris-Syd-Melb 3rd March, fly to Auckland, one night in a hotel.

39 nights on Oriana calling at Bora Bora, Papeete, Hawaii, San Francisco, ports in Mexico, Panama Canal, ports in Venezuela & Caribbean, ending in Southampton. Two nights in hotel in London and flight back home.

All inclusive price including airfare for an inside cabin from $3999.

Oh, if only.......................... but we will be just back from our NZ cruise.

We seriously considered it until I saw that we would be home only 36 hours from a cruise when we would have to leave for Auckland, and (if we booked this one) we would be home only 36 hours before our next cruise.

anjo Hi there, Really keen on this one!! Live in N.Z are you able to steer us to the right T.A.? Know u can't name them. $3999 Aud all inclusive seems incredible value!!!! Thanks Anjo

Hi anjo.

I know we are not allowed to mention TA's on this site, however for the Oriana deal, I think you will find that all TA's should have it.

Just take a note of the deal and the dates , and go to any TA, preferably one that specialises in cruising and knows what they are doing , and just ask if they have that deal as well , and if not can they match it.....

Thats what we do , and they usually can match it and sometimes even beat it.

If they start mucking around, just get up and thank them and go somewhere else.. Friends just booked a cruise this week after they saw a deal in the Sunday Times. The first TA fluffed around and did not really know what to do. .....so they left it..went to another and were booked in 5 minutes and had everything they wanted.

Hi David, thanks for your prompt response. This couldn't be the right price surely??!! I keep rereading it and thinking it must be a miss type!! Anjo.

It is not a mis-type:D just amazing value. I hope you can do it and have a fantastic time.

A friend of ours has been watching the bookings on this cruise for a while and he remarked that the Aust-UK leg was not selling well. Maybe the fact that there are a lot of sea days and not lots of ports has deterred some people, but at this price you can't go wrong.

If you book it, maybe it would be worth adding a few more days in London before coming home.

Yes, some great promotional deals on these P&O UK WC sectors. Just like we got on Arcadia, Sydney - Southampton, 49 days via Asia/Africa, outside cabin with £250 obc, $5300 each.

Most of the good cruise agents would have these promotional deals, but they sell out very quickly. Don't muck about if you want to go on one. I had to deposit within 24 hours when offered our one by the cruise agent.

Thankfully I have not seen anything cheaper than what I paid for Brisbane to Southampton on the Aurora some 18 months ago!!! I know I should not look ... the cabin grade we got sold out a while back so I am safe now :D
