Dang, had to go and google that - now I need my retinas removed. That's just sick. Is it safe? I'm guessing it would only be safe to have a dentist do it and wouldn't want to go to a dentist that would do it. On the other hand, I'm betting this could become a new prison fad! I also had to google this, as I had never heard/seen it. I can't imagine this would be safe, as you are making a tooth more unstable by drilling a hole in it. I cringe every time I think of it!

Add me in never heard of it. It's we're in a race these days to see who can defile (imo) their bodies the most. Pretty soon National Geographic will be publishing pictures of us with all our weird piercings the way they did of Polynesians a hundred years ago!

Ewwww, sounds like a great way to invite cavities, among other problems (like shattered tooth & getting food more easily caught). Definitely would make french kissing unattractive. Scary what people will do for "fashion" or whatever.
