The parade is about to start:

 

Celebrity Summit 1600 from Bayonne

NCL Gem 1600 (oops NCL Star)

Veendam 1645

Disney Magic 1600

 

I believe Disney publishes "all aboard" rather than departure time, so I expect it will be close to the Veendam. My preferred webcam is the nyharbor cam, but if the Magic and Veendam are close together, it may be focused on the Magic much of the time. If so, the Statue of Liberty torch cam may be a better option.

Just remembered to sign on! So I missed the Summit yet again....

I wonder where Irisheileen will be waving from? Just she and DH or a group from the Roll Call?

All 4 NY Wired webcams seem to be stuck on July 4 and 5. It looks like the Intrepid webcam is also showing a static image. The docks are always empty and the sun always seems to be setting.

Veendam moving away from the pier at 1.1 kt. Looks like we should get 10-12 minutes of prime coverage as it approaches the bridge. Irisheileen seems to be the only one who's checked in.

I don't think he's "seeing" the ship, just the symbol on the "satellite" view panel below the live webcam.

 

That shows it heading downriver now at 9.5 knots.
