8am and Regatta still not arrived in NY today

Looking at the marine traffic website, Regatta has been spending the last few hours looping back on its tracks and is still off the coast south of Long Beach.

True! However Regatta was scheduled to start disembarkation at 7am.

Regatta had a power outage and did not dock until noon today. See story in "news"

Does Oceania provide reimbursement for lost flights??or just those booked thru them?? Or are you just stuck,,and have to deal with this problem on own? Sure the fine print in contract must have something about this....feel sorry for those affected...but things happen,right?:confused:

They may not have posted because the internet availability is turned off sometime during the night, don't you think? Of course they have access to the cell phones.

I happened to drive down the West Side Highway after the opera at the Met this afternoon and didn't see Regatta ... (This was around 4:15 or so.) I was looking, too! The pier next to Intrepid (where NCL usually docks) was empty as well. I'm sure Regatta was still docked, I just didn't see her.

 

There was some unknown ship docked in Brooklyn ... But Oceania doesn't dock down there.

The Regatta was due to be in NY on the 19th only from 7am-6pm. We know it was very late docking due to a power issue and wasn't at the dock until noon.

Of course the people that boarded yesterday would be on the ship by now

but those that disembarked in the afternoon would possibly be someplace with access to the internet

It is hard to tell from the news report on CC if they were to set sail later on Friday or be delayed further

Something is screwy with the facts in that article. New York isn't Regatta's homeport, and Ashley knows that.
