My sister and I have a CC group going on that sailing, and your review is posted on the roll call

We all are eating up every word and photo...

Thank you so much for taking the time to do reviews.

There are a couple that seem to do them very well on CC and your adventures are top of the list :)

Thanks, you seem to have a really nice group, wish we could go. Mike

Mike, great review. Brings back memories from our cruise last February on the Miracle. Great ship...not too crowded and good layout. We are booked on the Miracle for a 15 day cruise to Hawaii next April, I guess we really like the ship lol!

I see you are from NB. What part? We live in Fredericton. Interesting to see you drove to NY for your cruise. We are thinking of doing the same after our next cruise. You know all about the high cost of flying out of NB or travel to Maine for a flight to Florida.

Thanks, we're from the Woodstock area. Mike

Aren't you glad you sailed the week you did? Love the Miracle --our all time favorite Maitre'd was on Miracle --he was a nice looking "no hair" man like yourself.

We just got back from Destiny cruise Miami and had to rent a car to get home thanks to Sandy.

Hope everyone is safe post "Sandy"

I hope you had a good cruise in spite of Sandy. :)

Mike, I'm another one of the Canuck "lurkers" who subscribes to every one of your reviews:). I really enjoy all of your reviews -- the complete ship tour, food porn, family photos, and port/scenic photos. You and your family have great attitudes and always seem to have a great time. I just may have to add the Miracle to my "next cruise" list when it moves to the West Coast. Looking forward to the rest of the review...

Mary Anne

Thank you Mary Anne, glad you liked them. :)

Yes, they are a wonderful couple. Love to cruise with them again.

I agree too. We've sailed with Juli & JR as well. Good people.

Mike, thanks for the ships tour along the way. We're looking at Miracle for an Alaska cruise with the whole family, so seeing so much detail of the ship will help us inform the part of our group who will be new to Carnival.

Hi, we are going on the same ship in February and have been enjoying the pics and review...just wondering how far the ship made it after the first night as it will likely be quite a bit cooler when we go in February...

As mentioned earlier our cocktail party was organized by James and Kerry, a.k.a Kerryman50. They did such a wonderful job organizing the whole thing.

The nametags were made by Pam on our roll call. Very nice!

Thanks Mike. We enjoyed doing it and was our pleasure meeting such a nice fun group of people.

Pam went far and above on the name tags, they were very nice.:)

We left the party under the influence of alcohol. We were meeting the kids for the past guest party in the Phantom Lounge. As most parents would do we tried to act sober in front of them, (I think I fooled them). You can probably count on one hand the amount of times they have seen us in this state, so you can imagine they will take advantage of it to tease us.

I guess we weren’t done drinking yet, got to love those new full size drinks they now serve at the past guest party.

After sobering up a bit we made to dinner at 7 pm. A magician came to our table, he was excellent. I only got a few photos of the starters and entrees, either they were too quick or I was too slow in getting the photos before they dug in.

After dinner Tracy, Arielle and I headed to the Phantom Lounge for the ‘Laugh-A-Palooza Show’ starring comedians Michael Dugan and Donald Mcenery. We made it to the early show starting at 8:45 pm.

On our way to the lounge we stopped at the Taste Bar. It’s open on sea days from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Very tasty

The show was presented by Cruise Director Cory Rogers. I liked him, he seemed to be everywhere throughout the cruise. On other cruises I seldom saw the cruise director unless he was hosting a show.

He brought a lady up from the audience and started serenading her. He’s actually a good singer.
