sailnsee Posted October 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2012 have beverage pkg.....do they add another 15% when you order? so in essance it is costing $63.25 pp per day....not $
cb at sea Posted October 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 29, 2012 Yes....any beverage, whether by the drink, or in a "package" will have 15% added to the cost, as the tip. That makes tipping when you recieve a drink from a package unnecessary.
sailnsee Posted October 29, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted October 29, 2012 not clear...so no additional cost to the pkg. cost of $55 pp per day...except a "volunteer outstanding service " tip...thanks
Clarea Posted October 29, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 29, 2012 not clear...so no additional cost to the pkg. cost of $55 pp per day...except a "volunteer outstanding service " tip...thanks They add a mandatory 15% gratuity, so you were correct in your first post, $63.25 per day. waterbug123 Posted October 30, 2012 #7 Share Posted October 30, 2012 have beverage pkg.....do they add another 15% when you order? so in essance it is costing $63.25 pp per day....not $55 15% is added to any package when you buy the package. Later, when you actually order a drink that is included in whatever package you have, there is no add'l tip charged/required at that time.

waterbug123 Posted October 30, 2012 #9 Share Posted October 30, 2012 The $55 a day includes the 15% Thanks. It was unclear to me if the $55 was inclusive of tip or not. Either way, once you buy the package, non add'l tip is charged/required each time you order a beverage.
Laticfanatic617 Posted October 30, 2012 #10 Share Posted October 30, 2012 The $55 a day includes the 15% there are a load of different posts on here about the package ( roll calls too ) and that's the 1st i've heard about it including the grat!! that makes things even better lol

Once you've purchased the package that is literally it!! You show your card, you get your drink - no signing or extra gratuity. However, it certainly doesn't hurt to give the odd extra tip to any bartenders who give you particularly good service.
