Yesterday, I came home to find an email from HAL offering us an upgrade from a SY to a Deluxe Veranda on our cruise LAST YEAR from Venice to Fort Lauderdale. The cost was $199/pp. What a deal!! Only problem, it was for last year. Now, had I been offered this last year, I would have jumped on it immediately. I forwarded this email to our PCC at HAL and she was amused.:rolleyes::rolleyes: Her comment was that someone "pushed the wrong button." :eek:

Makes one wonder if MAYBE you were supposed to have gotten that e-mail last year and someone did not send it though it was prepared and ready to go?

My thoughts exactly. I got a similar offer this year for my recent cruise but they wanted $900/pp. I didn't bite.
