Groliv Posted January 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Hello everyone, After reading so many posts on this site over the past few years, I see so many people who have MANY cruises under their belt. I thought it would be fun to start a thread to ask quite simply - How many cruises have you been on? That's it. Just how many. Would be fun to see what the highest is.:) Sorry, wasn't sure where to post this question....
paul929207 Posted January 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2013 31 (with 32 starting in about 3 hours)
eh2zed Posted January 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2013 At 39 cruises we are still babies compared to many others
zacc Posted January 26, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Great question! How about adding total days at sea? I know that many of say Paul929207's cruises have been long cruises so that number may even be more fun.
Happy ks Posted January 26, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2013 I honestly don't remember if it's 23 or 24. I usually respond with "over 20". We're at the low end in comparison to many others here.
kelmac Posted January 26, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Total of 45, with over a year spent on cruise ships! My wife and I have spent 5% of our time together onboard cruise ships. Kinda cool, I think!;):) Kel

indigosails Posted January 27, 2013 #13 Share Posted January 27, 2013 Something like 16 cruises for us, with three more booked this year. Never enough.
sail7seas Posted January 27, 2013 #14 Share Posted January 27, 2013 Something like 83 cruises on HAL and about 15 on other cruise lines. Unlike BruceMuzz, sadly, we had to pay for all of ours. :)
Taxguy77 Posted January 27, 2013 #15 Share Posted January 27, 2013 I knew a man who sailed every other week from New Orleans! Always had the same breakfast in his room. Sounds boring to me, and I really like the salt air.

Krazy Kruizers Posted January 27, 2013 #23 Share Posted January 27, 2013 In 2010 I was in the process of counting our cruises -- going through boxes of scrapbooks when we had a major disater hit our house and I lost several boxes of scrapbooks. I was doing this for another site I belong to. At that time I was up to 110 cruises. We had done several that were lost and several since then. I don't bother to count our cruises any more. wieslaw Posted January 27, 2013 #25 Share Posted January 27, 2013 This week is my 1,403rd cruise. Around 35 years onboard.Of course I didn't have to pay for most of them. Hi, I think that being / working on a cruise is a lot different than being on a cruise as a guest during your vacation. So if you want to compare your experience with 'ours' ....... did you actually book and paid ( as the rest of us ) for any cruises ? On which cruise lines ? How did you like them ( from the passenger's point of view) ? Did they ( the crew ) know who you are ? Did you get a preferential 'care' ? Or you were just another guest / passenger ? I would really enjoy your answers. Thank you
