Lovely pictures, I am just now getting out of work and I am catching up with a bunch of threads.

 

I am really glad that the cleaning worked and pictures show. Also happy that you took my advice :).

 

Can't wait for what is next :)

Good morning friends! Thanks for all the great messages. Well the time is here, the pre cruise fun is over.... welcome to day one of LIVE from Celebrity Silhouette!! It's a beautiful morning here at the hotel. I'm off shortly for some breakfast and more importantly, COFFEE!!! :D

 

I'll be headed over to the ship in a few hours and I have a surprise for some of my friends from our terrific roll call so stay tuned as the day gets underway!

I had mentioned earlier there were some improvements that I felt could be made over my first ever LIVE review which took place last October aboard Oasis.

 

For one thing I will try to do a better job of getting photos of the menus... from Blu, to the specialty restaurants, and of course the bars.

 

More pictures of the food. Everyone enjoys food "porn" including ME! :D

 

I will try to do a better job of answer people's questions. Please know that if I don't respond to every post on here I still appreciate everyone that follows along.

Lastly, I decided that hopefully the internet package I choose on Silhouette will be adequate for this task... I decided to go with the 555 minutes which is priced at 199.95 I believe.

 

I have been giving a heads up by Gambee.... the internet on Silhouette can be very iffy at times. So if that happens and you don't see posts from me my friends for a length of time, it's because of the internet. I figure we definitely will be good till I get about two miles from Port Everglades as I will be able to use Verizon 4G till then. After that, just go from there and see what happens

Good Morning, Chris! Don't worry, my coffee is right here with me while I keep up with your LIVE review! I'm anxious to see more pictures and updates! :D

 

Don't spend too much time worrying about updating this review... have more fun on the cruise with those Roll Call people Bill was talking about. I hear they're a rowdy bunch! :p

 

By the way; every time you have a drink... think of us that are reading your review and have an extra drink ! :cool: HAVE FUN!

 

 

EDIT: I just realized I have 46 days to go until my cruise! Just got our eDocs yesterday and ordered our luggage tags. Now the waiting game begins. I believe this is the reason why I'm so excited about yours and Gambee's reviews... its keeping my addiction in check!

Good morning Chris !

The excitement of starting a new cruise is always fun. It sounds like you and some of your roll call made fun connections at dinner. Now you will start off knowing people, continuing conversations and sharing cruise information.

That is very generous of you allocating all that internet time and money to keep us informed, entertained and making us feel like we are making the journey with you. It is intriguing for me since I have never been on Celebrity. Lucky me has a tour guide to give me a taste of what I can expect from a Celebrity cruise. I think you will have 10,000 hits before you even pull anchor in Fort Lauderdale !

Oh Chris, were thinking of Bimini for our Pre-cruise on Lady O in a few weeks. Now wondering if we should consider something else. Your thoughts or suggestions.

 

Loving everything in this live review. Pics are great! So great that Gambee took the time to help out with the sensor issue. Thanks too Gambee from this follower.

Cafe de Paris on Las Olas is very good but also expensive. It might have just been last night Karen. I was just stunned at how spotty the service was. Very forgetful plus they wanted to argue about who ordered what or whether or not they ordered it plus they put everyone's meal on one bill and insisted that's how Ruth wanted it and got rather surly when we asked them to separate it

If you happen to see the lunch menus for MDR, could you please post. Did not

realize how good the food was until I read Gambee review.
