Hey......I have one of those Packer hats. Mine is signed by Paul Hornung....we met him one year at Lambeau Field before a game. Happy to see there's another Illinois Packer fan. :D

I have to stop looking at your food porn pics....I'll gain 30 lbs. if I keep it up....lol

OH NO!!!!!!!

That damn dust, it is in the sensor, I hate it.

I am not sure what to say, can you find a camera store around you? they will clean the sensor for you.

If the aperture remains below 7 it should be less noticeable.

Also try to change the lens only indoors.

Damn I have to work today, if not I offered to clean it for you.

Until what time will you be in the hotel now?

-----------EDit-------

You can't travel like that, ill clean it for you. Hit me up by email, we will figure something out. ccgambee @ gmail dot com.

I can meet you at the hotel before work.

Going to second the advice to change the lenses in a clean environment, I am pretty bad about changing mine outside (nature photography is my thing) but I have a Canon 7D and it has a pretty effective built-in dust removal system.

Keep up the good work, loving the review dusty sensor and all!:D

Hey chris

Thanks for doing this again there great.

I was just wondering are you still going on the Royal in Nov??

Thanks Tommy. To be honest, I am unsure. I really liked what RCCL offered and anxious to see how Celebrity is. I might have found the two lines I want to settle down with and start building up the perks. If I decided not to, believe it is not because of anyone on the roll call.

A big thanks to Gambee for coming up here to clean the sensor on my camera. The problem is corrected now. Plus he wouldn't take any offer of compensation for coming up here... very nice of him. I will buy him a drink when I go to Miami for a couple of days in December before boarding Reflection, it's the least I can do. :)

Chris,

Thanks for the picture of the Caribbean Princess. She looks marvelous. Two weeks from today I will be on board the ship.

It looks like you are off to a great start meeting up with some of the people on your roll call. Added bonus is the sunshine you have today.

Speaking of sunshine , that is what we have today after 5 inches of snow on Wed. It has melted and I can't ignore the twigs and leaves that are littering the lawn. So I am heading outside for awhile to start that chore. My to do list keeps on growing despite all my efforts eliminating the other jobs.

Chris,

I love your photo's and narrative.......you and gambee truly have a fantastic talent. I have absolutely no talent what so ever taking photo's. What I believe would make a great photo in my mind when I look at in on the camera, I simply go what in the world is that? I do have a great talent for either cutting off part of someone's head or cutting them off at the knees. But then I get distracted by something else and move the camera.

Nope, photography is definitely not for me, but I LOVE looking at your photo's and gambees. What great reports you both do!

The problem with the camera may be moisture. The camera has been indoors and it's cold. You go outside and it's hot and humid. Humidly builds up in the camera. My DH suggests you get a plastic bag and seal the camera and go outside with the camera in the bag. He says do not use the camera for an hour, but I'd be too impatient.

We were on the Silhouette February 2012 and I loved it. Only a couple complaints which was the size of the cabin (too narrow) and not enough shelf space like the M class. Other than that I had a fantastic time. We had a regular balcony. Loved the Hideaway. We went with 5 other people and we did select dining. After the first night we sat at the same table at the same time with the best waiter and assistant. Dingo and Rusty. Do not know if they came back on the ship. If any one meets up with them, they are the best. We also let the cruise people know.

Loved looking at the pictures of Fort Lauderdale. And hoped you enjoyed the boat ride around millionaire's row. I did that tour in 1966. And I still remember the boat ride. Cannot wait to read all your reviews.

So awesome to see these beautiful pics of Ft. Lauderdale as I'm packing and getting ready! We'll be on the April 7 sailing too but don't arrive until 8 a.m. tomorrow, so this is allowing me to pretend like I am already there. Great review and pictures so far! :)

I see the double post bug has struck me! LOL :D

Pre-cruise pictures are so good (esp. the food :D) I can't wait for the live review. You and Gambee must really enjoy doing this to give up so much of your time because it does take quite a bit of time. The rest of us benefit. (You're either an NCIS fan or a Mark Harmon fan or maybe both?)
