Andy Posted April 26, 2013 Author #8 Share Posted April 26, 2013 Is there anywhere that actually lists the sailing dates/ports??? I received the email as well but have no idea where the ships are going.. That's what im looking for too. I'm on holiday with no plans of calling celebrity Unfortunately, not at this point. Celebrity has been offering web updates like this all season, which I find of little value, other than the "heads-up" and promotional information, which is welcome. Why it's so difficult to provide a list of ships, sailing dates, and detailed itineraries, makes no sense to me. You would think it shouldn't be that complicated. Oh well, the deployment season releases are officially over. Hopefully, there will be new communication ideas next year.
KnoxvilleSam Posted April 26, 2013 #9 Share Posted April 26, 2013 They are there, but not that easy to find. Go to http://www.celebritycruises.com/genericHtmlTemplate.do?pagename=captains_club_world_tour_cruise&allowMobile=y&ecid=em_19963429&rid=251496810&mes=CC%20New%20Deployment%20Asia-AusNZ-Haw%20EM&emsc=SEG%20EXOTICS%20PG%20&empf=Y&emct=E&lnkid=CC_NEWDEPLOY-ASIA_AUSNZ_HAW Unfortunately, they do not show the ports for each sailing, so I don't know if the one we want (April 3, 2015) starts in Sydney or Auckland. TxnAquarian Posted April 26, 2013 #10 Share Posted April 26, 2013 I'm a Captain's Club member, but didn't receive an email. Hopefully, I'm eligible to get this info. I have been impatiently waiting to get my 2014 bookings completed. I just emailed my TA to inquire. It's such a tease to see the ports, but have no idea where the ships will be going lol Michael
HappyTvlr Posted April 26, 2013 #11 Share Posted April 26, 2013 This is so insane and frustrating! Thanks for posting the information you have, but it is crazy that they do not make the information needed to book more available. I live in Oz, and calling the US to have a long discussion about options does not at all appeal to me. I feel like pretty woman. I have the cash and want to spend it, but you gotta show me the details.
Waihekean Posted April 26, 2013 #12 Share Posted April 26, 2013 They are there, but not that easy to find. Go to Unfortunately, they do not show the ports for each sailing, so I don't know if the one we want (April 3, 2015) starts in Sydney or Auckland. Ditto, want the cruise that ends in Auckland. Also a while back someone had posted a thread with a link to port bookings and the Solstice (January 2015) did not have an overnighter in Sydney was just listed as a one day stop for the date I was looking at. If that is the case might have to look to go on the Diamond Princess instead. Also Host Andy pointed out that in the fine print special offers are not available to non-American or Canadean residents. So, that means can only hope for a good early saver fare.
Rare MicCanberra Posted April 27, 2013 #13 Share Posted April 27, 2013 Thanks Andy for the heads up but I received the email and there is not a lot of detail as yet. the good news is that they will offer a South Austrailian cruise out of Melbourne (Adelaide and Port Lincoln):D
timtam2 Posted April 27, 2013 #14 Share Posted April 27, 2013 I want to book the Century but I'll just wait a couple of days until it's available on the website - it doesn't make sense to open up something for sale when no one knows what it is your actually selling???? For sure, it'll blow out their call handling times for no real good reason - having to describe the cruises in full - 'where does it go, how long is the ship in port, is this cabin available, how about this other one, what price is that one etc etc' - was it not possible to have the cruises available online to book when you log into your Captain's Club account? or with a passcode? Pre-sales on concert tickets etc are not this hard.

I emailed my TA this morning about the itineraries, and she couldn't even give me an answer today because they don't have their act together at Celebrity. 2aussiecruisers Posted April 27, 2013 #16 Share Posted April 27, 2013 People in marketing need to get an atlas out to determine the location of countries. South Pacific residence would be interested to know they've been moved to Asia but best of all is they've moved Hobart to Asia, we always make jokes in OZ about Tasmania but we would really like to keep it. Sailing to: Hawaii: Hilo, Mount Kilauea, Kailua Kona, Lahaina, Kauai, Honolulu; Asia: Papeete, Bora Bora, Moorea, Lifou, Isle of Pines, Hobart, Noumea, Mystery Island Vanuatu, Benoa Bali, Lautoka, Suva Fiji, Papeete, Moorea, Otaru, Hakodate, Tokyo, Kobe, Mt. Fuji, Jeju Island, Seoul, Bejing, Shanghai, Kyoto, Nagasaki, Taipei, Singapore, Benoa, Komodo, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue/Danang, Hanoi, Busan; Australia: Sydney, Melbourne, Esperance, Albany, Perth, Port Hedland, Darwin, Airlie Beach, Brisbane, Newcastle; New Zealand: Auckland, Bay of Islands, Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound, Dusky Sound, Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, Tauranga. Ports vary by itinerary.
Swansforever Posted April 27, 2013 #17 Share Posted April 27, 2013 Just got off the Solstice yesterday. I wanted to book an Australian cruise on board. The future cruise sales planner said the delay in finalising the Australian itineraries is due to port issues.

Based on what you've written it's probably not what you want. The April 3 one isn't one of the AU/NZ ones. It goes to Honolulu, although via NZ. jeremybe Posted April 27, 2013 #22 Share Posted April 27, 2013 I'm not sure what I'm allowed to post on here regarding itineraries- My Travel agent sent me the itineraries for Australia for Jan/Feb 2015 - We were hoping for a 12 night - This year there are multiple 12 nights, in 2015 there is only 1 and it doesn't include a stop in Melbourne - but it does have Tazmania ....Everything is 14 days... Which makes it difficult for us to take a 2 week vacation (2 days travel + 14 day cruise =no go) . Let me know if I'm allowed to post the itineraries and I will... Thanks

seaworthy1 Posted April 27, 2013 #24 Share Posted April 27, 2013 Have been looking forward to booking this cruise,( Sept 16 to Oct 10 2014) since the rumors began. Now I'm rethinking it. 23 nights, 16 sea days, 9 hrs Honolulu, 9 hrs Lahaina, 14 hrs Papeete, 10 hrs Bora Bora, 8 hrs Fiji' 6 hrs New Caledonia, and then disembark 6am in Sydney. I don't know what I was hoping for, but this ain't it. The cruise following this (potential B2B) is 12 days around New Caledonia. On someones bucket list but not mine. I hope to cruise Australia/New Zealand some day, but I think I'll wait.:(
