bostonian19 Posted April 27, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2013 Where do you store the luggage, under the bed, in a closet, thinking of bringing large duffle bags so they can be folded in half and stored away.
paul929207 Posted April 27, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2013 Yes, your luggage is in your cabin for the cruise. Ours goes under the bed without problem. There may also be room in the closet
Love.II.Cruise Posted April 27, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2013 We've never had issues storing our luggage under the bed on the following cruise lines: Celebrity, Oceania, Princess, Regent, Royal Caribbean, and Windstar In fact, I think I'd be surprised if my luggage didn't fit under the bed!

SadieN Posted April 28, 2013 #5 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Always under the bed. Depends on the bed and luggage. Some luggage needs to be stored open. Some beds have a lip haging from the frame. The beds are usually very light to lift the inch necessary to push the luggage under.
Treven Posted April 28, 2013 #6 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Always under the bed. I'll leave one of my duffels open and that acts like my dirty clothes hamper. I'll pull out the duffel from under the bed, toss in my dirty clothes, and slide the duffel back under the bed. You might need to lift the bed frame to slide your bag under, but once your bag is past the frame there will be plenty of room.
Rare Keith1010 Posted April 28, 2013 #7 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Luggage can easily fit under the bed. You can also put some in the closet. Keith
Krazy Kruizers Posted April 28, 2013 #8 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Depending on the cabin type we choose, most times we can store our 4 big suitcases under the bed. If we are in the Penthouse, there isn't any storage under the bed as it is a solid frame attached to the floor. So I stack the suitcases in a corner in the living room. Sheffie Posted April 28, 2013 #9 Share Posted April 28, 2013 We also stand one suitcase up in the closet with the upper end open into which we put our folded dirty clothes. That way, by the end of the cruise, over half of our clothes are packed!

Gunner22aa Posted April 28, 2013 #11 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Virtually any suitcase will fit closed up under their beds. We travel with very large hard sided suitcases and never had an issue

That way, by the end of the cruise, over half of our clothes are packed! We do something similar. We store all of our luggage under the bed (which, to the OP, are often large pieces and always fits well) but leave one (or two) in easy slide out reach on the side and use that for dirty clothes. Keeps the closet - which can get cramped depending on stateroom category - less crowded. Also makes the last night of packing a shorter task.
