Coralc Posted June 11, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 11, 2013 They aren't any bigger on the Voyager class. The side hump balconies are larger on the Radiance class, Voyager class, no.
avalon007 Posted June 11, 2013 #6 Share Posted June 11, 2013 Hi, We had hump cabin 8612 on Voyager earlier this year, the cabin was the same size as a standard balcony cabin as far as I could tell, but the balcony itself was larger.
cb at sea Posted June 11, 2013 #7 Share Posted June 11, 2013 That's true...the hump area is coveted because of the ease of access...it's a convenient location. On Voyage and Freedom class ships, there is no difference in size because of the hump. That occurs on Radiance class ships.
leaveitallbehind Posted June 11, 2013 #8 Share Posted June 11, 2013 Thank you very much for the info we have never done a Suite before and I always here people talking how the Hump cabins can be bigger. RCI hump cabins are not bigger just by virtue of being on the hump - but some balconies depending on ship class can be. This is not the case on Voyager class ships, however. The staterooms and balconies that are often bigger within a given category based solely on location are the aft facing staterooms. The stateroom and associated balcony sizes on the humps are designated by stateroom category. And to your original question, as pointed out previously, there are many JS's on the hump location. Go to the RCI web and look at the ship deck plans.
