Re-Boarding ID Requirement in the Caymans

When we disembark the ship in the Caymans what form(s) of ID do I need to bring to get back on? I'd like to keep out PPs on the ship and just bring DL's. Can we get back on with DL's? Will a Military dependent ID card work to get back on? My son is only 15 and has no DL.

Cheers!

I normally take ship card and driver lic, but military ID works. It just needs to have a photo. DD has even used school ID but officially a minor with parent does not need an ID, just the ship card .... but check details for your particular line.

I first want to note that this all depends on the cruise line.

When you are in the Caymans you will tender back to the ship so it's up to the ship to decide this.

On cruise lines we sail all we would need is our ship board card.

On some cruise lines you need a drivers license and ship card.

We've been ask in Grand Cayman a couple of times to show our photo ID prior to getting on the tender ... but that hasn't happened every time.

You just never know so it's best to have it with you.
