Does anyone know exactly what the suite perks are for the Celebrity Suite? Have read so much and am not quite sure what they are. Have heard you are entitled to Blu, but must make appt? Get free specialty dining but only on first night? Extended room service menu (what is extended)? Free smoothies through Blu. Buttler service but they only make appointments for you and unpack? Went to Celebrity web site and some are listed and some other perks aren't. HELP!!!!!!:confused::confused:

The Butler is available to you throughout your cruise, to assist with anything that is not caring for the room - i.e. looking after you, reservations, afternoon canapes/tea in room etc.

You get free speciality dining (one or two depending on length of cruise) at your place and date of choice. (the butler can help make the reservations if you wish)

You get upgraded toiletries - bvlgari brand usually. Upgraded tote bag. And I believe bigger towels.

You also notice you are treated very well, you may receive invite to a sail away on the helipad for example, although this is not guaranteed.

You can eat in Blu but on request, subject to availability. You get priority seating in the theatre and priority tender tickets.

You also get to eat breakfast in Blu any day and it is wonderful! The butler is available to provide room service to you for any meal - and this is more than the usual dumping the tray in the room - it is white tablecloth, served course by course more or less. In addition to the nicer shower, you also get a larger bathroom and a bathtub. More closet storage space as well.

It's not well specified on the Celebrity site and there are some perks you get that they don't tell you about. I suspect it depends on what type of suite you are in.

From experience in RS on Solstice and Millenium class, I can tell you:

  • Two free speciality dining visits (CS, etc. get one). They will try to pre-book you for the first night, change it to whatever you want. There is a suite help line in Miami who can pre-book stuff.
  • Two bottles of liquor that you can swap, plus a bottle of fizz
  • A limited number of free sodas, no refills.
  • Reserved seating at shows, tender priorities.
  • Full butler service, he/she will do as much or as little as you want. He'll happily leave you alone and may not volunteer for much.
  • Afternoon tea in your suite - coffee, cakes, sandwiches, etc.
  • Access to Blu for breakfast.
  • Access to Blu for dinner. You cannot book. Some people say that you will be rejected if busy, but we've never had a problem even with a queue of AQ behind us.
  • You may be asked to pay $5 per head gratuity in Blu.
  • The full set of Elite perks - laundry, free, internet, breakfast in Tuscan Grill, parties, etc. This is discretionary, not guaranteed, but we've always got it.
  • A very rapid response to any problems or queries - much better than some up-market lines. For example, the Butler can fix you a personal appointment with the tour desk, no standing in line.
  • Pretty much exactly what you want in terms of seating in MDR, providing you don't book very late.
  • Maybe an invite to the bridge.
  • Maybe an invite to the helipad if there is something wonderful to see.
  • We once even got some free money vouchers for the casino
  • Priority boarding in your own line. This sometimes works, sometimes not, it depends on the terminal.
  • Wait lounge once boarded with refreshments, fizz, food.
  • Wait lounge for disembarkation.

I think that's all of it, but I'm sure others will remember stuff as well.

The 2 free bottles of alcohol and soft drinks, free casino money and wait lounge on embarkation are not available in Sky Suites.

The reserved theater seating is only on formal nights.

One thing not mentioned is free cappuccino or espresso from the butler on request.

You can call Celebrity prior to sailing to pre book your free specialty dining. It does not have to be the 1st night and you choose the restaurant.

Does the wait lounge include the CS on Reflection or only the Sig. suite and above?

Here's a link to suite benefits on the Summit, just click on which suite you have.

There is no mention of the wait lounge (upon embarkation) for suites. Is this an amenity that is on every ship, or just selective? Or if it does exist is it for RS and PH? I know we saw it on the Equinox. Wonder about the Summit?

We have never had a separate "wait lounge" on embarkation in a Celebrity, Royal or Penthouse suites. There was a separate wait area of about 8 seats nearest the door when we boarded Eclipse in Fort Lauderdale last December. However, other than boarding first, there was no "amenity" about it. Previously at Fort Lauderdale, suites/elites/cc/etc were just seated in different rows of seats.

There's a separate area for suites (at least in Ft. Lauderdale). Once on board the ship, you can go to Michael's Club to wait until the rooms are ready. Small amounts of food and lots of champagne. We had a royal suite on that sailing. Don't know if it applies to all categories of suites.

Thank you to everyone for your quick replies. The link to celebrity was great, answered a lot. Not quite sure what the butler does, but guess if you have any questions once onboard he would be the one to ask! Again everyone...Thank you

Victoria:D

The butler's job is to look after you and make sure that you have a wonderful cruise. Definitely have the butler bring you a specialty coffee and some almond croissants in the morning. A most civilized way to start the day!

Is the internet still free in a RS?

If you receive the Elite coupons there will be a coupon for 90 minutes of free internet. You will both receive one (if traveling with someone else) and they can be used to upgrade to a higher package.

As to free specialty restaurant dinners (from X website):

Dining

One complimentary dinner for all guests in suite (cruise of 6 or 7 nights) and two complimentary dinners for all guests in suite (cruise of 8 nights or more) in a specialty restaurant. Available on Solstice® Class and Millennium® Class ships only. Also available with Penthouse Suite and Royal Suite on Celebrity Century®.

Special Amenities for Penthouse & Royal suites include:

Separate whirlpool bathtub

Whirlpool on private veranda

Stateroom setup of one bottle of vodka and one bottle of scotch with accompanying mixers

So just remember none for 5 night or fewer.

It has never been free in the RS - well certainly not since 2000 when we had our first RS trip

It was free in my CS on Eclipse March 2012. I seem to remember that after I booked they announced they were taking away the perk, but I was grandfathered.

In all my years cruising on X, and in PH and Royal suites, we NEVER got free wifi, except for the 90 minutes which is a perk for Elite members.

OP, Blu is really for Aqua Class guests only, and available for suite guests on a space available basis. When we did a B2B on Solstice, in the PH for both, in the 14 days we were never able to get into Blu because it was booked solid.

Just for the sake of accuracy, suite guests are welcome in Blu for breakfast. They are welcome for dinner, only on a space available basis and then there is (sometimes) a request for $5 gratuity as well.

It would have only been free because you were given Elite privileges and, as someone said earlier, this is a discretionary perk.
