Kiwi Kruzer Posted September 16, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 16, 2013 $300 per night for an inside, i dont think so Depends on who the artists are , and how much you want to see them. Overseas cruises have long featured "famous" artists and the fares have reflected how famous they are.:D
Rare MMDown Under Posted September 16, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted September 16, 2013 Yes, fares are expensive. However, it is a year out and fares may come down closer to the date.

icat2000 Posted September 16, 2013 #8 Share Posted September 16, 2013 2219 per person for 7 nights. Yeap that pricey. Though. Props to them if they can sell it at those puffed up prices. Its obviously a chartered cruise.
cruisine21 Posted September 17, 2013 #9 Share Posted September 17, 2013 I've always found the production shows on RC to be excellent. I don't think I'd pay more for these artists.
Rare MMDown Under Posted September 17, 2013 Author #10 Share Posted September 17, 2013 Yes, it is a chartered cruise by Cruiseco. There are stars in their field already - Opera - Teddy Tahu Rhodes, David Hobson and Cheryl Barker. Musical Theatre - Elaine Paige, Marina Prior, John Waters, Tommy Fleming and David Alan Grier. Music - The Guy Noble Orchestra (25 piece) and Simon Tedeschi, classical pianist.
Oz_Steve Posted September 17, 2013 #11 Share Posted September 17, 2013 I saw Teddy Tahu Rhodes at the Opera House on Sunday in South Pacific. His voice is very good but his acting is a little wooden.

I have attended a couple of performances by Simon Tedeschi as he is the son of my Mum's doctor and Mark Tedeschi, the Sydney-based QC. I have just finished reading the book "Eugenia" written by Mark Tedeschi, the story of a woman who lived as a man, marrying 2 different women during the early 20th century. Fascinating! We really enjoyed it, as I said Teddy's voice is great his acting not so much. We had a friend in the cast so that makes it better, her first lead performance. Even so when the talent is those Elvis impersonators. ;)
