C&A Points question

Recommended Posts

Yes, although technically you get 1 extra point per night, not double points (for example, if you get two points per night for cruising solo, you only get three for cruising solo in a Jr. Suite, not 4).

That is incorrect. The answer is NO. You only get double C&A points for booking a Grand Suite and above.

You need to pay double deposit for grand suite and up.

Double credits per night indeed go for a JS and up if were talking only suites here.

The answer is definitely YES. You may not get full suite benefits in a JS because you do not have a Gold Card, but you do get double points.

Footnote #14 on the C&A Members Benefits page.........

"One Cruise Point for each completed night of sailing and an extra Cruise Point per night when you purchase and sail in suite accommodations (categories RL, RS, PS, SL, TS, A1, A2, A3, CL, OS, FS, GS, JS) and/or sail in any category and pay a single pricing type for double occupancy stateroom. All other rates including Travel Agent rates, as well category SI and SB, are excluded from single price type extra point promotion".

"Cruisetours are included as an additional night per each day on the cruise tour. Points will be awarded by rate paid not rate berthed, for example, in the instance of an upgrade from an outside to a suite category".

actually you are the one who is incorrect. JS do indeed get double points although they do not get any other suite amenities as such

Quoted from the C & A website. Incorrect. The answer is YES. We have always received double points with JS. Unless the policy has changed recently JS does yield double C & A points.

If you stay online and see yourself corrected (within 15 minutes), yes, you can. :)

Actually it use to be 15 minutes but currently you have 20 minutes to edit a post you have made. You can't delete it but can replace it's content with deleted or a similar comment.;)
