I was debating whether to celebrate my 20th anniversary on Princess or 50th birthday on Carnival, while hoping for the a great rate to Alaska. The deal I just got signing into the Princess website sealed the deal. Caribbean Princess here we come, less the fact we haven't got the time approved off work as yet.

The Western Caribbean route out of Houston? You could still do Alaska in the summer:D. Princess does that well also.

I hate the idea of flying to Florida but the deal on the Royal Princess is also great. I haven't been to any of the these ports.

Belize is the only Caribbean port I have any real interest in. I will keep my option (budget) open if the Alaska deals are back.

Thank you, this cruise is huge for us. It's without the kids (j/k), no I am not but 20th anniversary!

Last year it was cheaper to spend time in Hawaii than to cruise.

My dh has never done a Caribbean cruise so we are going for the Royal Princess.
